The forming process of the paper cup machine is not complicated. The paper cup is mainly composed of the wall and the bottom of the cup. Therefore, the forming process of the paper cup machine is to process the bottom and the wall of the cup respectively, and then firmly combine.

The paper cup material processed by the paper cup machine is mainly single or double PE/PLA coated paper. the cup wallpaper can be printed into a fan in advance, and the cup bottom paper can be rolled.

The forming process of paper cup is as follows:

First of all, the paper cup machine should automatically process the printed fan-shaped paper into a paper cup tube, and then thermoform the wall of the paper cup, the bottom of the paper cup uses web paper, and then the paper cup will automatically feed paper and cut.

The paper cup then has the opportunity to seal the bottom of the cup to the wall and then glue it with hot air blowing. Then there is the rolling step of the paper cup machine, that is, when the bottom of the paper cup is glued, a layer of traces are rolled through mechanical motion. Finally, the rolling step of the paper cup machine is to form the rolling edge of the paper cup mouth.

The work content of the paper cup machine starts from automatic paper feeding, and then produces finished paper cups through continuous processes such as bottom punching, sealing, heating, bottom turning, knurling, rolling and unloading.

Paper cup layer and lining:

The outer layer of the paper cup, the wall, is made of cardboard. This layer provides thermal and thermal insulation properties. In fact, it keeps the drink hot for as long as possible without being too hot to carry around comfortably.

For cold drinks, a wall is enough. For hot drinks, it is best to use a double-walled cup to provide additional thermal protection. In addition to insulation, a second sleeve that covers the cup allows mixing and matching embossed patterns and prints to create a variety of designs.

The cardboard is coated with a thin plastic lining, which is necessary for safety reasons: it acts as a barrier, ensures food hygiene, and makes the cup liquid resistant. Plastic is a suitable lining material because of its strength, resilience and excellent barrier properties. It is also very good in terms of materials, energy and cost efficiency.

To make the cup suitable for contact with food, cardboard or lining cannot currently be made from recyclable materials. In order to reduce the carbon footprint, the plastic lining can be made from renewable plant materials, rather than fossil materials.
